WHAT TO BRING
You will need to bring everything to set up your shop: a tent, tables, décor, chairs, product, etc. The entire event is held outdoors, and tents are required. You must bring 50LB weights for each corner of your tent to secure them in case of wind. You will not be able to set up your booth without tent weights for your booth- West Metro Fire will be checking every booth this year. We recommend carts or wagons for this event for an expedited load-out process.
NOTE: Belmar management requires that all street food vendors have mats or cardboard put down under their booth space. Any grease damage will be charged a $250 cleaning fee at the vendor’s expense.
As a reminder, all backup merchandise and boxes must be hidden under tables or put back into vehicles and not left out.
ELECTRICITY
Very limited electricity is available on-site and is not guaranteed for all vendors. Please email vending@gumpoppresents.com to confirm any electricity needs.
WIFI
There is no WiFi available on the site. Please be prepared to accept sales in offline mode for credit card sales. Alternatively, you can use your cell phone as a hotspot.

Load-in Logistics
LOAD-IN TIME + LOGISTICS
Vendor load-in will begin at 12:00PM and will be tiered by booth location. All vendors will enter the site through Salsbury Street to Alaska near Bar Louie (7111 W Alaska Drive).
You will be able to pull up to your booth space to unload on Alaska and North Teller. Any booth spaces on Teller south of Alaska will need to bring a cart to carry in their product from Alaska as vehicles will not be allowed. Please pull in along the curb and completely unload your car with product and supplies, then proceed to park your vehicle before putting up your tent or setting up your booth space. Vendors will exit at W Alaska Ave via S Teller St (indicated in RED on the Vendor Layout map).
Vehicle access will only be permitted until 2:45PM when the streets will close. The City of Lakewood Police Department will close all streets promptly at 3:30PM and all cars must be removed from the event area by that time. Note: You will not be able to enter or exit the event area once the streets are barricaded. Vendors that arrive after 3:00PM will need to cart or carry their supplies to their booth space. All vendors must be set up by 4:45PM.
12:00PM - 12:30PM | Booths 1-15
12:30PM - 1:30PM | Booths 15-50
1:30PM - 2:30PM | Booths 51-83
2:00PM - 2:30PM | Food & Fashion Trucks
3:00PM | Street access closed; all vehicles removed from the event area.
Please be aware of your surroundings and do not unload in the thoroughfare/driveway/other vendor spaces. Please remember to take deep breaths and be kind and courteous to your fellow vendors during the load-in process!
BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS
The Vendor Assignments link can be found here. Booth assignments are subject to change, so please check in with a Vendor Coordinator during load-in to make sure you are in the right spot.
We understand that booth placement is important to the success of your market; however, you ultimately drive the success of your booth by having engaging and exciting items and set up, which draw the crowds to your booth space. Events such as Big Belmar Bash are made special by having a colorful and unique collection of vendors such as yourself!
PARKING
There are ample parking lots, garages, and street parking options throughout the Belmar property. Free vendor parking is available in the 7G Parking Garage located on S Saulsbury St, just on the other side of S Teller St’s Century 16 Belmar movie theater (directions here). LOAD-OUT
No breakdown can occur until the event concludes at 10:00PM on Monday, July 3. No exceptions. If you leave early and have not been approved and discussed with Event Management, you will be charged a penalty of $50. The Drone Light Show will begin at 9:15PM and vendors are welcome to start condensing or packing product at that time, but tents must stay up until 10:00PM.
Vendors will follow the same entry and exit points as load-in. The City of Lakewood Police Department and Belmar Security will be on-site to assist with traffic during load-in and load-out. Please note that the area will still be heavily congested when the event concludes, and no cars will be permitted to enter for load-out until crowds dissipate at the discretion of City of Lakewood Police. You are welcome to start carting or carrying out product or supplies in lieu of waiting for load-out vehicle access.

Vendor & Event Policies
LICENSES & HEALTH CODE
Each vendor is responsible for having the appropriate business and sales tax licenses for the jurisdiction of the event (city and state).
If you are serving food, follow the health code that regulates your particular product type. It is the vendor’s responsibility to be aware of and compliant with the licensing and health code requirements of their business and products.
Mobile food vendors and anyone that plans on handling or preparing food are required to have hot water at 100°F, soap, and paper towels or other drying devices at all times while food handling. Vendors who violate this requirement will be subject to a fine from the City of Lakewood.
All Mobile food vendors are required to have a fire permit somewhere in the metro area. You must have this on-hand at the event as West Metro Fire will be checking all food vendors. No cooking or fire of any kind is allowed within 10ft of a tent.
SALES TAX
You are responsible for charging and submitting the appropriate city and state sales tax.
VENDOR CONTRACTS
All vendors will be required to complete the 2024 Vendor Contract prior to their participation, and to upload Proof of Insurance. This contract is valid for all 2024 events and you only need to submit it once. You can review and complete the contract at the link below; this is also where you will upload your proof of insurance and sales tax licenses: https://www.gumpoppresents.com/vendorcontract
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations are only eligible for a refund within 2 business days after registration payment has been completed. After the cancellation period, we cannot offer any refunds, only booth fee credits that can be used for a future event.
Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance are eligible for a booth fee credit or reschedule. Any cancellations made within two weeks of a market date may not be eligible to receive a refund or future event credit.
All cancellations must be made by phone or email. Vendors who cancel less than 48 hours prior to a market will be charged an additional $25 Late Cancelation Fee. In emergency situations (such as illness, death, or vehicle problems), the fees may be waived at the discretion of Gum Pop, and vendors should contact Gum Pop via email or Vendor Hotline: (720) 445-6381.
Vendors who are a no-call, no-show will be responsible for a $75 No-Show Cancelation fee, due the following week by Venmo or via digital invoice (Venmo: @GumPop). Vendors who violate this rule two (2) or more times will be placed on probation for the remainder of the agreement year. A third (3rd) cancellation of this nature can result in dismissal from the market. To cancel or make changes to your registration, or for questions regarding our policy or COVID-19-related cancellations, please email vending@gumpoppresents.com.
Please note that we are not able to monitor our inboxes while on-site at events. To ensure any weekend messages are received by the Vendor Coordinator, we ask that any last-minute cancellations are made through the Vendor Hotline only.
WEATHER CANCELATION POLICY
This event is rain or shine! With exceptions for cases of extreme or dangerous weather, the market will take place regardless of rain, heat, or cold. Vendors should be adequately prepared for sudden rains (suggestions include plastic sheeting to cover merchandise if needed, a pole to push rain off canopies, etc).
It is the authority of Belmar and the City of Lakewood to close a market early or open a market late due to severe or inclement weather. Belmar and the City of Lakewood will make decisions to alter market times based on weather reports or market conditions. Gum Pop Presents notify vendors immediately via text and email in the event of any cancelations or delays.
TRASH & RECYCLING
We kindly request all vendors to please minimize any garbage and recycling created at your vendor booth. Upon load-out, please clean up your assigned booth space and return it to the state that it was given to you in. All trash/recycling/compost must be brought to the appropriate designated receptacles or carried out with you. Any vendor who leaves behind trash at their booth will be fined $50. We strive to set an excellent example for tidiness and appreciate your help with this!
