Our weekly summer Farmers Markets strive to be a place where the community can shop for locally and sustainably grown produce, farmed and fished foods, grocery items, baked goods, artisanal products, and more.

We are thrilled to return to Belleview Station for a fourth season of People + Produce in 2023!


VENDOR APPLICATION & FEES

Options & Pricing

  • Full Season Package (For vendors who want to participate every week)

    • 10x10 - $225 for all 17 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x20 / Fashion Trucks - $300 for all 17 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x10 Street Food Vendors & Food Trucks - $150 for all 17 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

  • Half Season Package (For vendors who want to participate every other week)

    • 10x10 - $150 for 9 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x20 / Fashion Trucks - $200 for 9 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x10 Street Food Vendors & Food Trucks - $100 for 9 dates plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • Half Season vendors will have the option to start their Every Other Week schedule on Week 1 or Week 2 and alternate weeks from there. While Every Other Week schedules are encouraged, we may be able to accommodate custom schedules or date substitutions if availability allows. Please reach out to vending@gumpoppresents.com with any Half Season scheduling questions.

  • Single Day Drop-In (For vendors who want to participate once or twice)

    • 10x10 - $30 per day drop-in fee plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x20 / Fashion Trucks - $40 per day drop-in fee plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • 10x10 Street Food Vendors & Food Trucks - $20 per day drop-in fee plus 10% of daily gross sales

    • If you would like to participate in 1 or more dates, please “Add to Cart” the number of Drop-Ins you are interested in and provide all requested dates on the application. If you would like to add more dates to your schedule as the season goes on, you can reach out to the vending team and we will invoice you for any additional dates.

Percentage of Sales

Percentage of sales must be reported to the provided Weekly Vendor Reporting Form by the Monday following each market. All farmers market vendors will be required to complete the Credit Card Authorization form prior to their participation and will then have the option to 1.) Submit their 10% of sales via Venmo, or 2.) To save a card on file on their Square account and authorize Gum Pop Presents to use the card for future payments.

All vendors who are accepted into the market will be given these details before the market season starts. Vendors must be current with the previous market fees before attending the next market.

We do not accept the following products for vending:

  • “Carnival” Food such as cotton candy or funnel cakes

  • Packaged, nationally distributed foods or products

  • Overly Processed Foods

  • MLMs such as Mary Kay, LulaRoe, Color Street

All vendors must carry the appropriate licenses, insurance, and certifications for their products. Gum Pop Presents does not offer exclusive rights to any one vendor to sell any one product. Event attendees generally benefit from having a choice. However, if Gum Pop Presents believes the number of vendors offering the same or similar products is excessive, duplicate products may be denied entry.

Applicants who fall into any of those categories are given priority at this market:

  • Local /organic/sustainably-grown fruits and vegetables

  • Local meats, poultry, and sustainable seafood/fish

  • Handmade Pasta & Sauces, Salsas, Dips & Spices

  • Pickles, Jams & other preserved products

  • Locally baked bread, pastries, and desserts

  • Eggs Permitted for human consumption (not master feed license)

  • Local, organic/sustainably-grown starter plants (veggies, fruits, herbs)

  • Locally made snacks such as Granola, Chips, Jerky

  • Local artisan and craft vendors


HOW TO APPLY

  1. Scroll down to view vendor options for People + Produce 2023 Farmers Market.

  2. "Add To Cart” the vendor package that you would like to register for.

  3. Complete the check-out process by clicking the "Cart" button at the top right-hand corner of the page, filling out the vendor registration form, and submitting your payment. 

  4. You will receive a payment confirmation email and a charge on your credit card.

  5. Upon review by Gum Pop Present's Vending Team, you will be notified if you have been selected to participate. If your vendor booth space is denied, you will receive a full refund for your application fee. If you do not receive an Approval or Refund confirmation within 3-4 business days, please reach out to vending@gumpoppresents.com.

VENDOR FAQs & POLICIES

Where is People + Produce located?
People + Produce is held on Newport St between Belleview Ave and Layton Ave, in the heart of South Denver and only a short walk from the Belleview Station light rail stop.

What do vendor booths include?
A dedicated 10x10 vendor space to pop-up in for the weekend. All vendors must be self-sufficient and are responsible for bringing their own tents, weights, tables, power cords, etc create a unique and inviting pop-up shop. Tent weights are mandatory for all outdoor events.

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
Vendors will have 48 hours after they are accepted to cancel their vendor registration. After the cancellation period, we cannot offer any refunds, only booth fee credits that can be used for an alternate date or event.

Vendors must notify Gum Pop 48 hours in advance if they are unable to attend the market for any reason. All cancelations must be made by phone or email. Vendors who cancel less than 48 hours prior to a market will be charged a $25 late cancelation fee. In emergency situations (such as illness, death, or vehicle problems), the fees may be waived, and vendors should contact Gum Pop via telephone or email.

No Call, No Show
Vendors who are a no-call, no-show will be responsible for a $75 cancelation fee, due the following week by Venmo or via digital invoice.

Vendors who violate this rule two (2) or more times will be placed on probation for the remainder of the agreement year. A third (3rd) cancelation of this nature can result in dismissal from the market.

Vendor Agreement
Each vendor will be required to sign our 2023 Vendor Agreement and upload proof of insurance, business license, and sales tax license before participating in their first event with Gum Pop Presents. Vendors will only need to sign a contract once in 2023 if they plan to vend at more than one event.

Do I need insurance or a business license to be a vendor?
Yes, you will need proof of business insurance (event-specific or general liability) in order to vend at our events. Please add TBW Enterprises LLC, PO Box 3128, Greenwood Village CO 80155 as an additional insured on your policy. You can acquire per-event insurance HERE. Proof of insurance is required to be uploaded upon signing the Vendor Agreement. In addition, each vendor is responsible for having the appropriate business and sales tax licenses for the jurisdiction of the event (city and state).

Zero Waste Guidelines
Gum Pop Presents has teamed up with Compost Colorado to make all of our events as eco-conscious as possible. All vendors are required to use compostable containers and serviceware. Compost Colorado has developed relationships with compostable product manufacturers to provide easy access to the materials needed to vend at these events. A list of resources and links to discounted products will be provided to Gum Pop Presents vendors upon application approval.

Weather

  • Our farmers markets are Rain or Shine. With exceptions for cases of extreme or dangerous weather, the market will take place regardless of rain, heat or cold.

  • Vendors should be adequately prepared for sudden rains (suggestions include plastic sheeting to cover merchandise if needed, a pole to push rain off canopies, etc.)

  • It is the authority of Gum Pop Presents to close a market early or open a market late due to severe or inclement weather. Gum Pop will make decisions to alter market times based on weather reports or market conditions.

  • When rain chances are forecast at 50% or higher during market hours, vendors have the following options (please note that in all cases, Gum Pop MUST be notified of your decision):

    • Prepare for the market as you always do and arrive at the site. Management will advise on setup options.

    • Vendors may cancel (This is the only circumstance where a vendor may cancel without penalty the day of the market). If choosing to exercise this option, vendors MUST NOTIFY GUM POP NO LATER THAN 6am. This may be done via phone call, text message, or email.

    • Vendors may wait it out and set up late but must notify Gum Pop market coordinator

  • In cases of severe weather (snow, tornado warnings, excessive winds, etc), Gum Pop may cancel the market. Vendors will be notified of cancellations.

  • Any questions about weather plans should be addressed to Gum Pop via phone or email. 

Vendor Parking
Vendor parking will be in designated areas only. There is ample parking available at Belleview Station, including street parking, a parking lot and several parking garages. Vendors are not to park on the street where the event is held. Detailed parking information will be sent once you are accepted to the market.

Safety
All canopies, umbrellas, and other forms of cover must be sufficiently and safely secured to the ground from the moment the canopy is erected at the start of the market day until the moment immediately before it is taken down at the end of the market. Weights should not present any hazards (such as tripping) to customers.

Professionalism

  • All profane, abusive, discourteous, and boisterous language and/or conduct at or about the market area are prohibited.

  • Use or possession of drugs, gambling, or possession of firearms at or about the market area is prohibited.

  • Fraudulent, dishonest, or deceptive merchandising, disruptive behavior, or collusion to set prices among vendors may be grounds for forfeiture of the right to do business of any kind in the market for a length of time to be determined by Gum Pop.

  • Vendors must be fourteen years of age or older. Younger children are welcome and encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult responsible for the child’s conduct and safety.

Display and Signage Standards

  • Vendors are encouraged to present their products in a professional and clean manner, including the display of such products. Selling spaces must be kept clean and neat. Failure to comply with this requirement may, at the discretion of Gum Pop, result in the termination of selling privileges.

  • Farm of Origin MUST be labeled for all produce and meats.

  • Food samples must be presented in a safe and sanitary manner, in accordance with any state and local regulations. The Vendor must provide trash receptacles for the disposal of any sampling materials such as cups, spoons, or toothpicks.

  • Vendors' product and signage must be contained within the selling space unless otherwise approved by Gum Pop.

  • Vendors will be solely responsible at all times for the cleanliness within their vending area regardless of the origin of the debris in that location.

  • Each vendor is required to leave the space clean at the end of the day. The Vendors must remove all residue or waste products, as well as signs, tents, tables, etc. at the end of each market day.

Producer/Vendor Rules and Exceptions

  • A producer is defined as the person that grows or makes the product and may also include the producer’s immediate family, partners, employees or designated agent upon prior review and approval.

  • Producers may sell locally-produced farm and food products including (but not limited to): fruit, vegetables, dairy, cut flowers, plants, cheese, juices, jams, jellies, relishes, honey, canned goods, pastas and baked goods; as well as handmade natural soaps, and home cleaning products.

  • Prepared foods are to be made from scratch and include as many local, seasonal ingredients as possible. They may not be prepared using commercial mixes.

  • It is the responsibility of each producer to abide by all state and federal regulations which govern the production, harvest, preparation, preservation, labeling or safety of products offered for sale at the market. Vendors are liable for their own products.

  • Gum Pop Presents shall not be held accountable for the products offered by vendors. Product and liability insurance are the responsibility of the producer.

  • Growers can only sell first quality products at the market. No one may buy products and resell them at the market without prior approval of Gum Pop Presents. All supplementation must be documented and approved by Gum Pop. Gum Pop has the authority to limit supplementation of any products.

  • Prior to selling at the market, Gum Pop Presents must approve any grower/agent agreement prior to the selling of any of these products. After approval is granted, any farm item or product not produced by the vendor must have labeling or signage designating the farm/original source (for example: “Organic Squash from AAA Farm in Littleton”).

  • Growers who use the market for sale of produce are subject to verification of the source of produce offered for sale.

  • All products must be of high quality. Repeated complaints about quality of product may result in termination of selling privileges.

Artist/Handcrafts Vendors Criteria

  • Each market will feature a rotating selection of handmade and art vendors. The rotation is determined by Gum Pop Presents.

  • Vendors must sell goods made locally in Colorado.

  • All art or craft must be handmade or original items by the artist.

  • Interested vendors must submit information about products, any website information, and photos (whenever possible) via the vendor registration process.
