With every misstep, I kept pushing forward and kept refining my craft until I felt confident enough to make my own pieces to sell.

Tell us about yourself! What’s your background and what do you do?

I began metalsmithing inspired by my love of organic textures, minimalist design and slow fashion, but entrepreneurship and artistry are such an important part of my family's story. My mother has an incredible eye for detail when it comes to oil painting, which she does for relaxation. My father is a skilled welder and engineer. Then there's my grandfather, who created stained glass art that brought light and color into homes and buildings. I'm so proud to come from such a family of creative, hard-working individuals and it inspires me every day to pursue my own goals of business and art.

How did you learn your craft? Tell us about your first finished product.

Through countless hours of practice and endless mistakes, I eventually gained a deep understanding of metalsmithing. With every misstep, I kept pushing forward and kept refining my craft until I felt confident enough to make my own pieces to sell.

Where does the name of your business come from?

Just my name!

How long does it take to make your product and what’s involved in the process?

Crafting each item by hand, the production time of a single piece varies depending on its complexity.

I'm inspired by minimal designs that people can wear on a daily basis that require minimal effort and look great no matter what the occasion.

My favorite design that I've created is the Moab Arch Earrings; they are my best seller and a pair of earrings that I can put on and instantly feel put together and stylish.

What question do you get asked the most at pop-up markets?

I often get asked a lot of questions about the materials used in jewelry, and it seems like a lot of people don't know the difference between different types of metals used in jewelry making.

I once appeared as an extra on the Chappelle Show and I have my black belt in karate.

The community of makers I have found myself a part of has been nothing short of amazing, and I couldn't be more thankful for the friends I have made while running my small business.
