Gum Pop Presents is thrilled to host the Vendor Village at Big Belmar Bash, a community celebration presented by the City of Lakewood and Belmar on Wednesday, July 3! In addition to the event’s live music, pop-up bars, kids’ activities, and more, the Gum Pop Presents Vendor Village at Big Belmar Bash will feature 70+ craft vendors, fashion trucks, street food and food trucks.

ABOUT BIG BELMAR BASH
The City of Lakewood and Belmar Downtown Lakewood are partnering to create a community celebration of Independence Day 2024 in Belmar Downtown Lakewood!
Taking over three blocks at Belmar Plaza, Big Belmar Bash will feature live music, pop-up bars, family activities, food trucks and pop-up bars, and Vendor Village presented by Gum Pop Presents, all concluding with a live drone "fireworks" light show at approximately 8:15PM.
Sky Elements, a leading provider of aerial entertainment, will be producing the cutting-edge drone light show. The show, which features a fleet of drones equipped with state-of-the-art LED lights, will feature a mesmerizing display of synchronized drones, creating a breathtaking visual experience that is sure to leave audiences in awe. The drones will perform intricate maneuvers, forming patterns and shapes in the sky while displaying a variety of colors and effects.

Belmar was built in 2004 to bring back the golden days of Lakewood. In its heyday, Downtown Lakewood was home to the Villa Italia Shopping Center. And before that, home to May Bonfils-Stanton’s Belmar Mansion. Clearly a magnet for movers and shakers. A place where people could come together to shop and dine.
Given the vision of many over 15 years ago, Belmar today is the shopping and dining destination of Lakewood. Located at the corner of Alameda + Wadsworth, Belmar offers over 80 shops and restaurants, entertainment and events along with several live + work arrangements.

Gum Pop Presents will sponsor the Vendor Village for this event and manage all vendor registrations, communications, on-site vendor management, and cross-promotion. Event production and marketing are managed by the City of Lakewood and Belmar.
Please note: All vendors MUST be fully set up and parked by 4:00PM. The Lakewood Police Department will be blocking off the streets with hard stops at 4:00PM that are unable to be moved. If you arrive after 4PM, you will have to walk a very far distance to cart in your product.
HOW TO REGISTER

VENDOR BOOTH OPTIONS
Booth Space is reserved for local independent businesses selling creative crafts, food, fashions & more. Can be handmade or collected (vintage / thrift) items. Must be locally owned and operated in Colorado.
Option 1: 10x10 Booth Space - $250
10x10 Space can be shared by up to 2 vendors.
Option 2: 10x20 Booth Space - $500
10x20 Space can be shared by up to 4 vendors.
Option 3: Fashion Trucks - $450
Option 4: 10x10 Promotional & Marketing Booth - $450
10x10 Space for Home Remodeling, Local Gyms, Dentists, Realtors, etc.
Option 5: Food Trucks & Street Food Vendors - $50 + 10% of Sales
10% of Sales to be due within the week following the event.

VENDOR FAQs & POLICIES
Where is Big Belmar Bash located?
Big Belmar Bash will take over Belmar Plaza and the surrounding streets of W Alaska Dr, S Teller St, and S Upham St. The Vendor Village will be held on the streets while Belmar Plaza will host seating, bars, and the drone show.
Will the Gum Pop Presents team be at this event?

What do vendor booths include?
A dedicated 10x10 or 10x20 vendor space to pop-up in for the day. All vendors must be self-sufficient and are responsible for bringing their own tents, weights, tables, power cords, furniture, and décor to create a unique and inviting pop-up shop. Tent weights are mandatory for all outdoor events.
Can I share my 10x10 booth?
Yes! We love co-op-style booths. 10x10 Booths can be shared by 2 vendors and 10x20 Booths can be shared by up to 4 vendors. Please include all involved vendors in your application for approval. There is no charge to share a booth space and only one application is required per 10x10 or 10x20 booth.
Please note: If you apply for a booth space without a partner and would like to add one later on, you must email vending@gumpoppresents.com to have the shared booth partner approved. Additional vendors that have not been previously approved by Gum Pop Presents will not be permitted to participate.
Will electricity and Wi-Fi be available during the event?
Electricity access is limited. If your booth space requires electricity, please reach out to vending@gumpoppresents.com to confirm availability so we may plan your booth space accordingly. We do not provide WiFi. Please be prepared to accept sales in offline mode for credit card sales. Alternatively, you can use your cell phone as a hotspot.
What is your cancellation, refund & transfer policy?
Vendors will have 48 hours after they have been approved and paid to cancel their vendor registration. After the cancellation period, we cannot offer any refunds, only booth fee credits that can be used for a future event. Any cancellations within two weeks of the event start date will not receive a refund or future event credit.
How does vendor load-in work?
Accepted vendors will be notified with more detailed load-in instructions at least two weeks prior to any event. Vendors will load in on Monday morning during an assigned load-in window.
Do I need insurance to be a vendor?
Yes, you will need proof of business insurance (event-specific or general liability) in order to vend at this event. Please add TBW Enterprises LLC, PO Box 3128, Greenwood Village CO 80155 as an additional insured on your policy. You can acquire per-event insurance HERE. Proof of insurance is required to be uploaded upon signing the Vendor Agreement.
Do I need a business license to be a vendor?
Each vendor is responsible for having the appropriate business and sales tax licenses for the jurisdiction of the event (city and state), and reporting and submitting their sales tax info to the appropriate city and state entities.
Application Fee Policy
The $25 Vendor Application Fee is non-refundable application fee and does not guarantee a booth space for this event. All submissions will be reviewed by Gum Pop, and vendors not selected will be notified. Accepted vendors will be required to submit a registration fee separately for each confirmed event. Once the registration fee is paid, there is a short window to formally cancel and receive a refund.
Vendor Agreement
Each vendor will be required to sign our 2024 Vendor Agreement and upload proof of insurance, business license, and sales tax license before participating in their first event with Gum Pop Presents. Vendors will only need to sign a contract once in 2024 if they plan to vend at more than one event.
Weather
The event will take place rain or shine. The drone light show may be cancelled in the case of excessive winds or poor visibility. The rain date for the drone light show will be July 5 at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Vendors should be adequately prepared for sudden rains (suggestions include plastic sheeting to cover merchandise if needed, a pole to push rain off canopies, etc.)
It is the authority of City of Lakewood and Belmar to close the event early or open late due to severe or inclement weather. City of Lakewood and Belmar will make decisions to alter market times based on weather reports or market conditions. Gum Pop will notify vendors of any changes to event hours.
In cases of severe weather (snow, tornado warnings, excessive winds, etc), City of Lakewood and Belmar may cancel the event. Vendors will be notified of cancellations by Gum Pop.

Safety
All canopies, umbrellas, and other forms of cover must be sufficiently and safely secured to the ground from the moment the canopy is erected at the start of the event until the moment immediately before it is taken down at the end of the event. Weights should not present any hazards (such as tripping) to customers.
Professionalism
All profane, abusive, discourteous, and boisterous language and/or conduct at or about the events is prohibited.
Use or possession of drugs, gambling, or possession of firearms at or about the market area is prohibited.
Fraudulent, dishonest, or deceptive merchandising, disruptive behavior, or collusion to set prices among vendors may be grounds for forfeiture of the right to do business of any kind at our events for a length of time to be determined by Gum Pop.
Vendors must be fourteen years of age or older. Younger children are welcome and encouraged to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult responsible for the child’s conduct and safety.
Display and Signage Standards
Vendors are encouraged to present their products in a professional and clean manner, including the display of such products. Selling spaces must be kept clean and neat. Failure to comply with this requirement may, at the discretion of Gum Pop, result in the termination of selling privileges.
Food samples must be presented in a safe and sanitary manner, in accordance with any state and local regulations. The Vendor must provide trash receptacles for the disposal of any sampling materials such as cups, spoons, or toothpicks.
Product and signage must be contained within the selling space unless otherwise approved by Gum Pop.
Vendors will be solely responsible at all times for the cleanliness within their vending area regardless of the origin of the debris in that location.
Each vendor is required to leave the space clean at the end of the day. Vendors must remove all residue or waste products, as well as signs, tents, tables, etc. at the end of each event.
